Is There Any Hope?
Wars are raging, diseases are rampant, children are starving, addictions are prevalent, and human relationships are falling apart. Is there any hope? Does anybody care? Does God care?
God is Present, and He Cares!
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” – Isaiah 40:28-29
God knows your circumstances. And He cares! In fact, God has made an incredible personal sacrifice to offer you peace, joy, love, acceptance, strength, wisdom, fulfillment, meaning, and eternal life. He has communicated to us how all this is possible, through His Word, the Bible, also known as “God’s Love Letter to the Human Race.”
God’s Personal Message to You
Because God loves you so much, He wants you to know 3 things:
1.) Your sins have cut you off from God:
“It’s your sins that have cut you off from God.” – Isaiah 59:2a
2.) God loves you so much that He sent His Son to mend your relationship with Him:
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” – Romans 5:8
3.) Now God offers you a restored relationship with Him and eternal life:
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ” – John 10:10
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST, AND HIS GIFT OF AN ETERNALLY RESTORED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
If so, you simply need to ask God in prayer. You can use the prayer example below as a guide if you would like. Remember, the most important thing is the attitude of your heart. If you pray sincerely Jesus will come into your life, and through Him your relationship with God will be restored and you will also receive eternal life.
“Dear God, I know Jesus is your Son, and that He died on the cross, and was raised from the dead. Because I have sinned, I ask for your forgiveness, and I ask Jesus to come into my life. I am willing to change the direction of my life by making Jesus my Lord and Savior, and with your help I will turn away from my sins . Thank you for forgiving me, thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to come and live inside me, and thank you for giving me eternal life. I pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.”
“And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:11-13
